Hi I’m Bettubela.
I’m an animal lover. Cats and dogs have captivated my heart. Both have given me happiness through my whole life and I want to share it with you.
I love cats for their grace, sensuality, mystery, curiosity, wisdom and beauty; dogs for their loyalty and unconditional love.
On this occasion my felines have asked to participate in my blog, and why not give them words? The first who wants to tell his story is Ulysses. Here he is with a musical meow.
Hola, soy Bettúbela.
Soy gran amante de los animales. Los felinos y canes han cautivado por completo mi corazón. Me dan una gran felicidad y deseo compartirla con ustedes.
De los gatos amo su elegancia, sensualidad, misterio, y belleza; de los perros su lealtad, obediencia, humildad y amor incondicional.
En esta ocasión mis mininos me pidieron participar en mi blog con sus sencuales maullidos y, ¿cómo no darles la palabra?
El primero que se apuntó para narrar sus aventuras, fue Ulises y sí lo hizo con un miau musical.

Me encantó leer esto porque muchas veces quisiera saber lo que mis perros y gatita piensan cuando les hablo en español! Sé que ellos ya saben que no importa lo que hagan siempre van a ser mis bebés!! Me encantan los animales y siempre es un placer leer cuentos sobre ellos y las cosas que hacen para ganar nuestra atención!

I think you hit it right on the nose with those animal descriptions. I personally am a dog-person, I find a cat’s lack of faith and trust in an owner disturbing and a poor choice in a pet. But dogs are the utmost in dependability and loyalty, sure they are not as graceful or serene as a cat, yet they are always there for their owners, time and time again. Every time someone goes to our house, they are greeted with my lanky black Labrador poking his head through the curtains out the front window’s of our house, and each time it brightens my day.
Amo los animales también. Yo tenía a gatos y perros cuando yo era joven, pero no tanto como usted. ¿Su casa está ocupada, sí? Ahora tengo un perro pequeño. Lo enseño español también. Pienso que él sabía la lengua porque él es un chihuahua.
When you described the animals I believe you made points that I can relate to. I am a dog person myself having 3 dogs that I grew up with and although I have never come across cats that much I believe they are as comforting as dogs. My friends growing up had cats, and I can say they treated their cats like I treat my dogs. As a part of the family.
Profesora Strumpf, yo pienso que es maravilloso que usted encuentre tanta felicidad aceptando gatos y ayudándolos. Muchas personas no haría esto. ¡Sus gatos tienen mucha suerte para tenerle como su Bettú! Espero que usted continúe ayudándolos, y a encontrar la felicidad completa.
Pienso que cuidando de animales es un acto muy generoso. Debe haber más personas que abren sus hogares y los corazones para desviarse animales. Yo sólo puedo imaginarme cuántos los gatos le adoran a causa de todo que hace para ellos. Tales actos generosos y amables.
I was just watching animal planet last night and it was a competition between Dogs and Cats- which one is a better pet. The show made some good points- very similar to yours. They are mysterious, curious, and indeed beautiful creatures. They are even loving too. I think it’s great that you have so many cat’s. If you weren’t a Spanish professor- I’d say that getting a job at Six Flags working with the big cat’s would be right up your alley!
Soy una gatuna tambien! Pero cuando yo era pequena, mis padres nunca me permitieron tener un gato como mascota. Ambos son alergicos pero quise comprar un gatito cuando tenia mi propio apartmento.
Profesora, Me encantan los animales también. Yo vivo en una granja, así que tengo muchos animales como vacas, gallinas, un cerdo, gatos, perros y conejos. Me gustan los gatos mayoría. Creo que los gatos tienen personalidades tan locos y siempre tienen mucha energía.

I found the cat song to be very ammusing. Ulysses looks like quite the character and somewhat like the cartoon character, Garfield. How much does he weigh?? What is he usually like: Active/Wild/Playful or Relaxed/Calm/Secrative? Also, though I am allergic to cats I still find they are very amusing to watch and play. I personally have 2 dogs, a black Labrador retriever named Bo and a Miniature Pomeranian named Wolfgang. They are my world, Dogs have always been there since I was born and will always be a large aspect of my life.

Yo tenía un montón de gatos y perros cuando era pequeño. Mis gatos nunca se queda en casa durante mucho tiempo, pero cuando están en casa, les gusta acurrucarse en el regazo o preguntarle a mi abuela para la comida. Los perros son mis favoritos porque no sólo son leales e inteligentes, mi perro me ayudó durante mi tiempo difícil.
¡Hola! Yo también amo los gatos y perros! Tengo dos gatos que tiene ocho años. También son hermanos. Nombre de un gato es maní y nombre del otro gato es Simba. Yo también tengo dos perros. He tenido uno durante casi cinco años, su nombre es sombra y el otro para un poco más de cuatro años, su nombre es bandido. Son mezclas de Maltés-caniche juguete.
Yo mismo soy un amante de los gatos y los perros. No sólo los gatos del amor y los perros, sin embargo, también tengo un dragón barbudo mascota llamada Saucy. Recientemente mi abuela rescató una ardilla bebé que saltó en sus manos. Decidí ayudarla a criar hasta que esté listo para volver a su hábitat natural, ya que es la criatura más dulce que jamás he experimentado. Él se arrastrará en su brazo en el momento de colocarlo en su jaula y luego escurrirse hasta el brazo y descansar a sí mismo en contra de su corazón. Siempre he crecido con los animales en mi casa y estoy muy apasionada del amor que pueden aportar a un hogar.
i am not a dog lover but i do like cats, but more than one is kinda to much for me. But i love how you care for them so much and you take them in. Also that you give them a voice
Professor Strumpf, I think it’s wonderful that you find so much happiness accepting cats and helping them. Many people would not do this. Your cats are very lucky to have you as their caretaker. I hope you continue to help them, and to find complete happiness.
